Characters I Want as my Friend// ft. My Favourite Book Series + TV Shows?!

Hey everyone! I’m sorry I haven’t posted in a little while, I’m still trying to work out a school and blog balance. Today’s post is a Top 5 Tuesday (even though it’s a Wednesday), a weekly meme hosted by Shanah @Bionic Book Worm. This week’s topic is favourite fantasy books, but I honestly haven’t read enough to make a list. Instead, I’m going to answer last week’s question: Top 5 characters you want as your (best) friend! This time I wanted to include both books and TV shows. ❤

Top 5 (In No Particular Order):

Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games

If you’ve read my previous posts, you probably know how much I love The Hunger Games series. So of course, I had to include Katniss on this list. She is such a determined and brave character. She also has such a kind heart (ie. her care for her family and Peeta) and has a great sense of humor, even though she acts tough. For these reasons, I would love to be her best friend!

August Wrap Up// ft. The Current Most Talked About Series

Hi everyone! I recently returned from vacation and I’m back to blogging. ❤ School has also started for me which means balancing reading, blogging, and school. I think I underestimated the amount of time school and extra curriculars take; so during the school year I will try my best to post at least once a week. Today’s post is my August Wrap Up, sorry for the late post!

Books I Read

I read the same (well, basically the same) number of books as last month. I feel that since I read around four books a month during the summer, I’ll probably read two books a month during the school year. Although I would love to read more, I’m a slow reader, so I guess that means my TBR will never get smaller 🙂 😂 If I read (or average) two books per month for the rest of this year, I’ll be very happy!

Hey everyone! July Wrap Up: A Great Month for Blogging!

Hey everyone! This month has been quite a great month, especially regarding this blog! Blogging has now become part of my daily routine and I’m slowly discovering how I want to structure and design my blog posts. I also read some great books this month!

I read four and a half books. I wish I could have read more, but I feel okay about it… I need to read more for August though! Hopefully I can read a lot when I go on vacation at the end of August.
